Judging
All entries are judged by a panel of independent experts selected for their expertise, experience and knowledge of each category specialism. Each candidate reaching the finalist stage may be required to submit further information for the panel of judges, who in turn will have the opportunity to see the finalist application form in advance. All judges will sign non-disclosure forms ensuring that all confidential information remains confidential.
There are three key tenets which underpin the CMI National Management & Leadership Awards, these are integrity, sustainability and achievement, judges will look for these values in all short listed finalists.
Enjoy the process. Reaching the final of this nationwide competition is a huge achievement and is recognition for the hard work and determined attitude that prevails in your organisation. Dragons’ Den it is not. Judges will not be trying to trip you up, or to undermine your achievements, they do however need to satisfy themselves that your entry is worthy of being heralded as the winner for your category, so be prepared to justify your claims and make sure you have evidence to validate claims that you are making.
Judging takes place over a week in September. A limited number of tables at the Awards ceremony are for sale on a first come, first served basis, so if you want to celebrate with your team, book early. If you want to make a value-added event of it, why not book onto the CMI National Conference during the daytime, click here for more information.
